Who Am I?

I am a Jane Austen fan that likes to meet other Jane Austen fans to connect, share, learn all things Jane Austen and ultimately have all kinds of fun. I am also the administrator of the Facebook GROUP All Things Jane Austen.

What I would like to offer?

I would like to show you all kinds of things about Jane Austen in a fun and interactive way without extensive reading… See what I did there? Mr. Darcy would not approve (at first, eventually he would come to love it). The subjects couldn’t be more varied. Do I know what I am doing? Not really. Am I going to commit to you 100% to give you a great experience? Most certainly!!! Take a look at the list below and add your ideas in the comments.

• Movies and TV adaptations from her novels
• Regency Fashion (both accurate and inaccurate – for real or just for fun)
• Music of her time and from her movies
• Embroidering and paper craft/mixed media
• Live Tea Parties (or wine parties – Jane was very fond of wine!)
• Live Talks with Jane Austen experts from around the world in real time (also recorded so you won’t miss a thing)
• The opportunity to connect with other Janeites near or far, here or there. Everywhere!
• Letter writing/exchanging (closed with wax seal and all… or not)
• Travel tips and guides
• Oh so many possibilities…

How will this be different from anything you’ve seen before?

• We will meet usually two to three times a month for live talks, live classes, discussions, etc.
• We will be a private group in a safe environment and great comradery.
• There will be a fixed monthly fee (for life – your price will never change) to provide the best resources for you.
• There will be book prizes, swags, gifts and all kinds of delicious treats (all sugar free LOL)

Since you will be the first ORIGINAL GROUP you will have the shortest fee EVER! Not only will your fee NEVER increase, no matter how big we get, how much we grow, how much the value increases… you will ALWAYS be a Founding Member of the All Things Jane Austen ATJA VIP experience. You’ll be the original gang that made it all possible, therefore a preferred member for as long as you want.

If you do not like our arrangement for any reason the membership can be canceled at anytime. No hidden or extras fees. Just good old fun. There will be different kinds of membership to give you all the best possible options. There is a lot of tech stuff involved and I am NOT the savviest tech person outside Facebook or WordPress. I am not even good on Instagram stories. So right now I am working with a partner to provide all that for us and make us look capital! I promise not to vex you. At least, not on purpose.

I will be honest with you at ALL TIMES. You’ll meet the real person behind the group who is not an expert and learn she is afraid to disappoint but oh so passionate about everything Jane Austen… and oh so crazy about sharing the love for all things Jane. Our meetings will probably happen on Zoom or on Facebook Live. When you subscribe you will have access to an exclusive super PRIVATE group on Facebook from where all the things will be shared with you.
