Mr Darcy’s Guide to Pemberley – Book Launch and Giveaway

There is a saying that it is better to see once than to hear a hundred times.

That is why I’ve decided to make a video about my very small (but lovely!) celebration of a book launch, rather than tell you about it. The person, to whom I present my book in the video, is no other than Mr Jeremy Knight of Chawton, Jane Austen’s fourth great nephew, Father of Caroline Jane Knight, the Founder of the Jane Austen Literacy Foundation. That is why I look so ecstatic on my visit to Chawton. J

About the book:

Sumptuously presented, to make sure it does justice to the stunning place it describes, this book is the first and only of its kind. It is only available as a hardback, wrapped in a smooth dustcover with gold emboss. Inside, the book is printed on high quality silky paper with full colour paintings adorning every page.

Hand-drawn maps help you to find your way around Mr Darcy’s extensive estate and perfectly imagine every detail as if you were walking the garden paths beside your generous (and handsome!) host.

  1. Well, I shared this via my husband’s facebook page, Michael Sommer in Wyoming. I hope that helps spread the word. I watched the new “commercial” for this book and it brought tears to my eyes. The picture of Darcy at his desk with the small portrait of Elizabeth facing was just right.

  2. CONGRATULATIONS! I am looking forward to my receiving my book in the mail in the near future! I am not on any of the social media sites (by choice), however, if you put your book on Goodreads.com, I will be sure to indicate that I want to read it and that it is on it’s way to me! Once received, I can then indicate that I am reading it and will do a review!

Thank you again so much for all your hard work in producing such a fabulous book!

    1. Hi Pam, Rita is right – the book is not given out in this giveaway. However, keep an eye on Jane Austen Literacy Foundation Facebook page. There will be one and only chance to enter a raffle for the book and Mr Darcy’s pendant on that page – closer to Christmas. Best of luck! ❤
